Anson Wong

Anson is a Research Analyst working with Dr. Van Ta Park in UCSF's School of Nursing. She received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Cognitive Science from UC Berkeley, and is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese. Through her own experiences as an immigrant, working with other newcomer children, and developing assessments for multilingual Asian-Americans, Anson developed a passion for improving mental health services and care for AAPI communities. She aspires to leverage her background and experiences to help fill the knowledge gap in AAPI research while improving health systems to be more inclusive and sensitive to different cultural nuances and needs.
