Santa Clara Family Health Plan Blanca Alvarado Community Resource Center

On Saturday, May 18th, CARE tabled at the Older Adult Health and Wellness Day event held at the Santa Clara Family Health Plan Blanca Alvarado Community Resource Center. 

Older Americans Month (OAM) is observed every May to celebrate and recognize the importance of older Americans to our society. This event was for older adults ages 60+ and provided attendees with activities and resources that focused on financial health and literacy, such as cooking demonstrations, exercise classes, raffles and more. 

We enjoyed engaging with community members and being able to promote both CARE and ARISE at this event.
